| Through a Dutch organization Compass Languages is helping build and run a school for Guatemala’s poor children with the aim of helping them to break out of the cycle of poverty. | Compass Languages maintains a charitable budget to help local families in need. Whether due to a child’s illness, job-issues or other difficult challenges; Compass Languages aims to reach out and help them through their crisis. These are non-deductible donations and are usually not given through an organization. In 2007 Compass Languages expects to donate $15,000 to a variety of families in need. |

A country crippled by Aids and poverty Compass Languages believes in looking for a way to leverage its international experience and resources to help – in a small way – the plight of these people. | Kasisi Orphanage – Zambia : In Dec 2007 Compass Languages donated $25,000 towards the running of this 230 children orphanage. Kasisi is one of Zambia’s best run orphanages and helps a large number of HIV infected orphans. It is run by Polish sisters of the Salesian order together with local sisters and nurses. |

| Kasisi Orphanage – Zambia : In Dec 2007 Compass Languages provided $8000 needed to add 2 nurses to the staff of the hospice. These nurses will enable the in-home visits to those families with HIV infected members. They do this in villages nearby, providing medical support an education on preventing further disease spread. Currently over 40% of the local population are HIV infected. |
